Casablanca

“Here’s looking at you, kid.”

These are the types of films I wish I’d known of them my whole life. Throughout my life, Casablanca would’ve been a film I could go back to feel an companied pain. A familiar friend who knows exactly what kind of story to tell you. Casablanca was nothing but a cinematic masterpiece (and had been for decades). I wasn’t expecting for Casablanca to have such an effect on me, but I was wrong. Performance after performance I was moved. I left the theater not only sobbing—but thinking about Rick and IIsa for days after.

Scream VI

It wasn’t awful—anyone who hates the new films, hates having fun. I, may be a loser, but I am a proud loser who loves to have fun. Insane to think about how fun it will be now that we have a new generation of people to root for during the next upcoming Scream films. I’m so excited just thinking about it—come on! LATINAS AND LESBIANS! This franchise is only going to get better and better. I am excited for the future of the Scream franchise!

Cocaine Bear

Comedy has been reborn and it was saved by a women.

Cocaine Bear is a one of a kind film. It can’t be made any better nor remade (not every animal has to do drugs now Hollywood…just make good movies). I unexpectedly really really loved Cocaine Bear. Dezeray is a huge supporter women’s wrongs but most importantly her rights. I can’t remember the last time I saw a good comedy movie in theaters. Comedy nowadays is unnatural or just painfully insulting. Not Cocaine Bear though, in Elizabeth Banks we trust!
